ROOT Participates in AGRILINK 2025, Philippines
 
ROOT Corporation participated in the ‘AGRILINK, FOODLINK, AQUATECH 2025’ exhibition held from October 2 to 4, 2025, at the World Trade Center Metro Manila in Pasay City, Manila, Philippines.
AGRILINK is the largest integrated trade fair in the Philippines covering agriculture (AGRI), food (FOOD), and aquaculture (AQUA) industries. It is held annually in Manila and serves as a key platform for the country’s agricultural sector.
As of 2024, the event attracted approximately 27,000 visitors, featured 252 participating companies from 12 countries, and hosted a total of 699 booths (641 indoor, 58 outdoor). The total exhibition area covered 11,000㎡ indoors and 4,000㎡ outdoors, reaffirming AGRILINK’s position as the Philippines’ leading agricultural exhibition.

 
Exhibition Overview and Key Activities
 
ROOT’s participation was part of its collaboration with FitCorea, supporting an ODA Tractor + Backhoe Package Project. Rather than focusing solely on product sales, the company aimed to enhance brand awareness (transitioning from GMT to ROOT) and promote the technical excellence of its backhoe lineup.
Under the slogan “GMT is now ROOT”, the ROOT booth was designed to highlight the company’s new brand name identity and visual image.
 
1. BY75P Backhoe Display
A custom exhibition cart was manufactured to realistically replicate the backhoe’s actual working conditions, allowing visitors to better understand its structure and operation. The setup also ensured safe mobility and display throughout the event.
2. Brand Promotion
The booth prominently featured the ROOT logo to emphasize the brand transition. Efforts were made to shift the market perception from the former “GMT” brand to “ROOT”, reinforcing the company’s renewed global image.
3. Digital Marketing Integration
QR codes were placed on booth banners to provide visitors with quick access to the ROOT official website. In addition, social media hyperlinks were added to the webpage to drive online traffic, and a SNS follow event (giveaway gift) was organized to encourage visitor engagement and increase ROOT’s online visibility.
